A unique Spanish wildlife sanctuary, given by the Duke of Wellington to the Antar family after the Peninsular War, is in critical danger of being turned into a housing estate for ‘early-retired ex-pats, covered in tattoos and off on the sick’.

Distraught, George Antar enlists the help of Jenkins, the estate’s caretaker.  However, with one blast of his notorious Mark 1 salt shot, Jenkins unleashes a hilarious chain of events that involve mistaken seductions, home-made bombs, an unscrupulous developer, an enraged IRA agent and a conquistador on a quest to find bullion.

Bemused and under siege, Antar quickly realises that saving the sanctuary is more hazardous than he could ever have imagined…
